Point

●睡眠時無呼吸症候群（SAS）には閉塞性睡眠時無呼吸（OSA）と中枢性睡眠時無呼吸（CSA）の2種類があり，循環器疾患，特に心不全はCSAを高率に合併する．

●SASを治療することで，循環器疾患への一次予防，二次予防につながる可能性がある．

●循環器領域ではSASの積極的なスクリーニングや治療導入後の有効性の評価が重要であり，臨床検査に求められるところが大きい．
